Browsers

The Whitespace Platform web application works best with Chrome, the Chromium-based version of Edge, and Firefox. Internet Explorer is not sufficiently functional or standards-compliant for the Platform.

iOS App

The iOS version for iPad and iPhone requires iOS version 13 or higher. You will need an iTunes account to install Apple’s latest version of the Platform App.

Some organisations have set in place security restrictions that prevent users from accepting invitations or using non-approved web and mobile applications.

If you encounter any issues with sign-on, we can provide information for your IT department to allow use of the applications in your environment.

Domain Whitelist

Some organisations have set in place security restrictions that prevent users from accepting invitations or using non-approved web and mobile applications.

We suggest that the following domains are whitelisted in order to allow access to both our Sandbox and Production environments, especially where non-whitelisted 3rd party cookies are not allowed in corporate browsers:

All Environments

  • whitespace.co.uk
  • turnbeta.whitespace.co.uk

Production

Sandbox

  • whitespaceplatformauthsandbox.com
  • turntest.whitespace.co.uk

Common Issues

  • I get logged out every five minutes: This can happen if your organisation has not yet whitelisted the Platform (see above). It can also happen if your active directory set-up means that your Microsoft user name is different from your Platform email address
  • My authentication fails when writing a risk, even though I was able to sign in: This also happens if your primary email address is not the same as the email address Microsoft accepts when signing into Office. Talk to your IT department, or contact us.
